The Ambassador Bridge was completed on November 6th, 1929 after 2 1/2 years of construction. It was officially opened on November 11, 1929 and spaned the Detroit River between Detroit, Michigan, USA and Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

This issue of the 1936 - 37 Official Road Map had a promotional sticker attached to it. It is unknown of the map was issued as such by the Department of Highways or whether this was a local initiative to promote using the bridge.

The bridge remains in use to this day.
