 BA 1941 Cover
There is an interesting note in the legend regarding speed limits effective March 1st, 1941 as Canada, along with other nations, took extraordinary steps to deal with the demands put on the country by World War II. Reducing the speed limit would help with the conservation of gasoline.

In addition there is a comment in red below the legend "New Airbases Omitted For Obvious Reasons".  This certainly helps reflect the time that the map was issued.
